Different possibilities to obtain "empty films" form the principle of this series of sculptures. Six basal combinations of unexposed or overexposed and developed or undeveloped slide and negative films in 4x5 inch format were translated into painted plexiglass panes. They do not show a recognizable image left on the emulsion as a result of light reflection, but rather, in oversized magnification, the specific form, coloration and materiality of the film as an object.
