In my reinterpretation of Marilyn-typical poses in my series Marilyn revisited 40 years after her death, I touch on the myth and examine it today. These works also form the basis of an exciting series of photo revisions and photogravure editions that Arnulf Rainer created for the Hilger Gallery. In the Austrian actress Babsy Artner the myth of the unforgettable Marilyn Monroe lives on.
