The very old, actually already dying apple tree in the orchard on the artist's doorstep was surprisingly in full blossom in 2018. In a series, the artist contrasts three night shots of the old tree from different angles with a close-up of the blossoms of a newly planted apple tree in the same garden. Obracy achieves the magically luminous, almost surreal effect of the white blossoms against the black background by using a long exposure time at night and additionally illuminating the blossoms with a torch.
