Comment

Like Marcel Duchamp in his legendary “Fountain” 1917, Edward Weston draws our attention to a banal everyday item that becomes a plastic object due to the deep eye point. It captivates not only by its outline but also by its surface.
The longer we watch, we are fascinated by the forms and the porcelain surface and forget the original function.
