Nilsson, famous for his pictures of fetuses in the womb, shows a collection of bull’s heads which attract the viewer’s attentions while the persons in the background probably watch the bull’s heads being cut off, invisible for us. The “frozen” boy with the suit and shorts is curiously watching the scene. The man on the left-hand side in the foreground sharpens his knife for the further processing of the bull’s heads.
